Joe Darnell bought his first video camera at the age of 14 and began work in the professional film industry while still in high school. The Director of the Audio & Video Department at American Vision, Joe has helped produce over 50 educational films, including Character First! Goes to Myers (2001), Remember Alabama (2005), From Terror to Triumph (2008), The Alternative (2009), and Creation Not Confusion (2010), and has directed all of American Vision’s video projects since 2008, including The Gary DeMar Show, Vantage Point, History Unwrapped, and currently Movieology.

Joe lives in Dallas, Georgia, with his wife and two children, and uses his free time enjoying movies and mentoring others in his trade.

Joseph’s brother, Nathaniel Darnell, is an independent filmmaker. Sometimes people get them mixed up.
