The Christian Film Festival was a Huge Success

I want to congratulate the superb quality of the filmmakers, the films, and the families involved in this year’s San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. It seems more than astounding that the festival has grown so much since it started just six years ago.

I have been a part of the audience and out-sourced to film the event through the years, but regrettably this was the first time I was not able to participate. Still, my brother, Nathaniel Darnell, gives me reports that this truly was the best festival to date without question. Judging from other reports I get he is right.

I especially want to congratulate John Moore and his film crew for taking home the Best of Festival Jubilee Award and $101,000 prize. John is exceptionally a rare, gifted filmmaker that is in large part a product of the festival and Christian Filmmakers Academy (the first half of the festival week). He is a testamony to the business at large that the winds are changing—proving true Christianity produces model examples of quality arts and business.
